Science-Based Games & Books for Children Demystifies Intimidating Concepts
Genius Games is a publishing company that focuses science-based games, children’s books, and toys. We have sold science-based products to over 50 countries globally, with currently four tabletop games and three children’s books under our belt. Genius Games publishes high-quality table-top science games for kids ages 8 and up. The company’s hope is to design games that are a blast to play, but simultaneously demystify intimidating concepts in the sciences and engage the players in a lifelong process of inquiry. PEPTIDE: A Protein Building Game – Players compete to link Amino Acids side-by-side, building a Peptide Chain, after selecting from available Organelles.
ION: A Compound Building Game – Players select from ion cards and noble gas cards, to form either neutrally charged compounds or sets of stable noble gases.
COVALENCE: A Molecule Building Game – Players work cooperatively to reconstruct a number of organic compounds based upon clues given throughout the game.
VIRULENCE: An Infectious Card Game – Players act as Viruses, competing to infect a host cell by collecting viral components!
