Micropore Technologies Appoints New Sales Development Director for the Americas

UK-based particle engineering specialist Micropore Technologies has just announced the appointment of Dr. Camden Cutright as its new Sales Development Director based in the US.

With a PhD from North Carolina State University, Dr. Cutright is a chemical engineer whose research background started at Vanderbilt developing photothermally activatable liposomes loaded with chemotherapeutics for localized breast cancer treatment and gold nanoparticles tagged with monoclonal antibodies for prostate cancer diagnostics. From 2016-2020 he was part of a research team led by Dr. Stefano Menegatti and Dr. Jan Genzer at North Carolina State University investigating microgel formulations for molecular separations, sensing, drug delivery, and surface patterning. As Micropore’s Business Development Director for the Americas, he will work with clients to develop deliver scalable manufacturing solutions for synthesizing and processing monodisperse emulsions, microparticles, and API crystals based on our unique membrane-based technology.

Micropore’s patented encapsulation technology originated in the department of chemical engineering at Loughborough University.  Dr Marijana Dragosavac Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Admissions Tutor at Chemical Engineering department at Loughborough and Micropore’s Chief Scientific Officer has published many papers in the field. Micropore Technologies Limited was established over ten years ago as a high-technology spin-out of Loughborough University and is a solutions provider commercializing products and technology based on its patented encapsulation and emulsification processes.
