Micropore Appoints New Commercial Director


UK-based Micropore Technologies has recently appointed Denis Smit, Invista’s former Head of New Business Development, to the role of Commercial Director to lead their global business development team.

With a PhD from Cambridge University and over 30 years in the specialty chemicals industry, Denis brings a wealth of industrial experience to the young business coupled with a solid technical knowledge of chemistry.

Micropore’s patented encapsulation technology originated in the department of chemical engineering at Loughborough University.  Dr Marijana Dragosavac Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Admissions Tutor at Chemical Engineering department at Loughborough and Micropore’s Chief Scientific Officer has published many papers in the field.
